When life gives you lemons, you use them to make a change in your community. People from the entire neighborhood flock to my corner to get a taste of some deliciously cold lemonade. They love the artwork that decorates my hand-made lemonade stand, my fresh lemons that come directly from our backyard and the complimentary pastries donated by my mom's local bakery. Families out on walks and bike rides stop by to purchase multiple cups of lemonade to help support my pledge to help the abandoned animals in our area. The great thing about the stand is the ability to convert it to a mobile state and change locations when needed. Most of my supplies are either donated or homegrown, making the profit margin much larger and the goal of feeding and sheltering misplaced animals attainable.
